About the Speaker

With over 10 years of adult higher education experience, and as a former news reporter, Allison Scotka, specializes in facilitating dynamic workshops and virtual engagement sessions for DeVry University corporate partners. She is passionate about helping professionals develop, grow, and achieve in the pursuit of their goals.  Allison brings emotional intelligence and enthusiasm to each interaction, and you will leave with a fully equipped toolbox of soft skills to implement implement immediately! As a team member on the National DeVryWORKS webinar group, she is certified to conduct a number of virtual learning experiences.  Allison can relate to the challenges learners face: balancing full time employment, a family and additional responsibilities.

Allison possess a Masters in Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Wheeling Jesuit University. Her areas of expertise include virtual learning environments, business development and sales training, employee engagement, territory management and coaching/mentoring.

Allison resides in Columbus, OH with her husband, and two daughters.
