The past several months of incidents around racial injustice, the Black Lives Matter movement, and the subsequent protests have been a lot to process. We know all of our members have had a wide range of reactions, and our WICT chapter wants to create a safe and respectful space to talk about how these events have impacted you.  We invite you to join the WICT-Rocky Mountain and NAMIC communities in a dialogue about race, systemic injustice, and the protests that have been taking place in our region and across the nation. To accommodate schedules, we will be hosting two virtual sessions with the same goal, facilitated by our Strategic Partner, Slalom Consulting:

Option 1: Thursday, August 6th, 12-1pm MST

Option 2: Wednesday, August 12th, 5-6pm MST

These sessions will both be focused on open conversation and idea sharing; potential follow up sessions will be held on specific topics & action planning later in the year depending on interest. All are welcome to participate in this open dialogue, knowing that we all come to the conversation with different experiences and levels of understanding.

If there is a particular topic or question you’d like to bring to the dialogue, please email wict.rm.marcom@gmail.com.
