Meet our panelists:
David Debrecht – David Debrecht is Vice President of Wireless Technologies at CableLabs. In this role, he directs the execution and adoption of new wireless technologies and specifications for the secure delivery of high-speed data, video, voice, and next generation services for CableLabs members and the industry.David has over 35 years of experience with wireless technology development in both government and commercial applications. He has served in a broad range of roles, including various positions in R&D, product management, technology development, and executive management. Prior to joining CableLabs in 2020, he started his career developing radar and electronic countermeasures systems for the F-16 at General Dynamics and spent 25 years at Nokia developing technologies and products for 2G to 5G mobile networks.David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He enjoys the outdoors and participates regularly in both organized and unorganized outdoor sports and recreation. In his spare time, you are likely to find him doing remodeling work on his house, hiking in the mountains, on the golf course, or spending time with family.
Sarah Sutherland – Sarah has over a decade of experience spanning technical program management, product deployment, and consumer insights. She has a passion for driving results on complex, cross-functional initiatives while navigating high-stakes environments with clarity and precision.Sarah holds an MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics from the University of Denver’s Daniels School of Business. A former structural engineer turned strategic leader, she also holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering.She is a passionate advocate for women’s advancement and proudly serving as an Advisory Board Member for the Women in Leadership executive education course at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
Alaina Nash – With over 25 years of experience in telecommunications and fiber optics, I am incredibly passionate about delivering quality communication services and advanced connectivity to all communities across America. As the Business Development Manager for Corning Optical Communications, I devotedly partner with the nation’s leading MSO carrier networks. By pairing the best optical solutions with the fastest-growing MSO networks, we aim to rapidly connect our families, friends, and neighbors. My sole passion is expanding our country’s rapidly growing fiber optic network.As a seasoned entrepreneur, I have founded and successfully exited three companies, demonstrating my desire to innovate and deliver impactful results that connect people in a world of vast divisions. I thrive on building lasting partnerships and strive for collaboration so we can all continue to contribute to building a connected future powered by Corning’s world-class innovations.In my spare time, I love to hang out with my 2 children, Jackson (20) and Harper (17) and our two dogs Kiera & Pua. Hiking, paddling, fly-fishing, networking and community volunteering fill my heart the most and being a part of WICT is the greatest honor and I am so very delighted to be here!
Lindsey Lopez – Lindsey Lopez is the Senior Director of Strategy and Planning at Congruex, where she leads strategic initiatives that deliver growth, operational excellence, and organizational alignment. With over a decade of experience spanning oil & gas, telecommunications, engineering, and construction services, Lindsey works closely with senior executives, stakeholders, and boards of directors, providing data-driven insights that inform key decisions to solve complex business challenges. Lindsey is deeply committed to advancing women’s leadership and career development. She has launched women’s networks at multiple companies, delivering diversity programming, company-wide mentoring opportunities, and organizing annual women’s conferences that foster growth and connection. Lindsey also serves as an Associate Board Member for the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross and holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business. Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys traveling, hiking, and skiing.
