2017 PMDS (2)WICT Rocky Mountain presents the Premier Management Development Series

The WICT Rocky Mountain chapter is excited to announce the return of the Premier Management Development Series in 2017.  This series is focused specifically on developing our high-potential supervisors and managers in the industry.   WICT Rocky Mountain and ICC have collaborated to create an interactive learning program featuring relevant, on-the-job topics to support professional development of our up-and-coming leaders.  Through the program, participants can benefit from:

  • Learning from top coaches and trainers in the region and practice practical management skills that you can apply immediately to help you excel as a follower-worthy leader on your team
  • Focus on applying new knowledge and skills so you get the most from the program
  • Connecting with fellow supervisors and managers from the industry and build relationships for peer-to-peer support outside the classroom for your entire career
  • Helping you optimize your individual performance and organizational impact, while achieving new levels of confidence and success
  • Increased engagement and enhancement to learning through an innovative learning app, included during the program

    6 full-day “classroom” sessions focusing on the following topics:

    • Self-Awareness Kick-Off Session
    • Collaborative Team with 5 Dysfunctions of a Team
    • Leading and Communicating through Change
    • Building Conflict Competence
    • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
    • Presentation Skills

  • Cost

    The full cost of the program is $1,800 including all classroom sessions and materials.

    2 Mary White Memorial Scholarships are available for those seeking financial assistance.  See application instructions below for details on how to apply and submission deadlines.

  • Schedule

    The program will start in April and run through September 2017.  Commitment will be 1 day per month on the following dates:

    • Tuesday, April 18th, 2017
    • Thursday, May 18th, 2017
    • Thursday, June 15th, 2017
    • Thursday, July 13th, 2017
    • Thursday, August 17th, 2017
    • Thursday, September 21st, 2017

  • Application Process

    The program is open to supervisor and managers.  You can nominate someone, or you can apply for the program yourself.  Each application must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from your manager.  CLICK HERE TO APPLY NOW!   Applications are due by April 7, 2017  for consideration into the program.
